PDF Options |
In the previous topic, creating PDF file is introduced. In this topic, more advanced features and flexible options are available to PDF Creator users.
PDF Creator Options are organized in five tabs,
1. General
2. Images
3. Fonts
4. Color
5. Security
6. Output
In General tab, you can set PDF Resolution, Paper Size, Custom Paper Size, Page Margin, and preview PDF Page.
In Images tab, you can specify the Image Downsampling Method, and choose the Image Compression Algorithm of your choice.
In Fonts tab, you can choose to embed all fonts into PDF file, or subset fonts.
In Color tab, you can manage the color space and color management policy used in your PDF file. Conversions from RGB to sRGB, RGB to CMYK are available for publishing. You can choose the ICC profile of your preference.
In Security tab, you can set password for users who read your PDF document, prevent PDF file from being modified, extracted, printed etc. 128-bit RC4 High Encryption is used for security.
In Output tab, you can specify the way you get your PDF files generated with PDF Creator software. Pop up a Save As dialog, or automatically output PDF results to a specific folder, or even give control to a 3rd-party custom action DLL.
